Born in Bari, Southern Italy, Gaetano was raised in a world defined by fabrics, light, and the traces of time. His grandfather was a master tailor, his mother a couture bridal designer, and his father an antiques dealer. Navigating the world with dyslexia, Gaetano bypassed words to develop a more visceral language: capturing color with his eyes, sensing texture with his hands, and judging spatial balance through pure intuition. This became the foundational logic of all his future designs.

The evolution : from emotion to precision 

His career was shaped by a layering of mastery: stage design taught him to control emotions through light and space; art direction for fashion magazines honed his grip on proportion and visual order. His ultimate breakthrough occurred in Meda, the heart of Italian furniture making, where he applied the “logic of sartorial tailoring” to furniture and environments. Consequently, his interiors possess a rare quality: they are “worn” by the space, like bespoke couture garments.

Milestones: from landmarks to superyachts 

Transitioning from a designer to a defining voice in visual language, Gaetano has led iconic projects including:

 * A 900m² ultra-luxury penthouse in Tomson Riviera, Shanghai.

 * Bespoke Sandalwood Villa (檀宫), Shanghai.

 * High-end private residences across Europe and China.

Personally invited by Loro Piana Interiors, he led the interior styling for two Wally superyachts, extending the aesthetics of couture fabrics and color order to the world’s most elite marine living spaces.
