01. Inspiration

After visiting Anji, in Zhejiang province, I found the inspiration for this project. Known as an ecological paradise and the city of bamboo, Anji inspired me to create spaces where nature takes center stage, with carefully curated details and a constant dialogue with the surrounding greenery.

02. Kitchen-Dining: Materials and Details

The kitchen-dining area is inspired by the bamboo forests of Anji. Green Calacatta marble evokes the lush vegetation, while fine woods, natural fabrics, high-quality leathers treated naturally, and precious straw weaving cover chairs and stools. Natural crystals from the finest French crystal makers capture the light with delicate reflections.

The kitchen, with its island crafted with large windows, opens the view to the outdoors, blending interior and exterior in perfect natural harmony.

03. Outdoor Space

The outdoor area, adjacent to the kitchen, was designed using Italian travertine for the table, bar counter, and wall details. Natural fabrics, reflecting the bamboo green, together with wood for chairs and large armchairs, create a warm and harmonious environment. Dark mahogany chandeliers above the table evoke tree bark, reinforcing the connection with the surrounding nature.

The absence of barriers between indoor and outdoor allows nature to flow directly into the villa, creating a seamless continuity of elegance, comfort, and natural harmony between architecture and landscape.

04. Project Continuity

The interior and exterior areas of the villa communicate through a coherent story of materials and nature. From the island with large windows in the kitchen-dining area, to the fine woods, natural fabrics, treated leathers, and straw weaving, every element combines craftsmanship and understated luxury.

The balance between interior and exterior transforms the villa into a continuous sensory experience, where design and nature coexist in perfect harmony.
